WILDFIRES: PREVENTION BETTER THAN CURE

The highly successful two-day conference was aimed at land owners and managers, fire and rescue personnel and researchers and policy makers.

The conference brought together international delegates from Europe and the UK to discuss wildfire issues, and provided an opportunity to share knowledge and experience with high quality international key note speakers from the UK, USA, New Zealand and Italy.  The conference also received a letter of support from Paul Wheelhouse MSP, Minister for Community Safety and Legal Affairs.
