RSS (Really Simple Syndication) (also referred to as 'news feeds' or 'web feeds') is a technology that lets you see at a glance what's on your favourite websites. The websites feed information out to you automatically, and you can choose whether or not to read the full article.
How do you use RSS?
When you see a feed that looks interesting, you can subscribe to it by clicking on the icon ('subscribe' in this case simply means 'add to my list' – it doesn't mean you have to pay).
First you'll need a feed-reader. There are many to choose from and most are free, but there are three general methods to chose from:
